professionally qualified to individuals who may not be qualified
although they have the natural attributes to work in the world of
care. The role requires people to be dedicated, reliable,
independent yet flexible in their approach to working with service
users who would like to lead their lives as independently as possible.

Prerequisites of employment with 5 Care
Each individual is subject to an Enhanced Criminal Bureau
(ECB) disclosure. This is conducted on all employees before they are
subject to any client exposure. This is an essential requirement of
working in the care field.
All employees must legitimately be able to work within the United Kingdom.
Applicants should be aware that you may be expected to work unsocial
hours when required, such as evenings and weekends.
Our care assistants are required to attend and pass a seven day
induction package as part of their training.
Care Assistant in
Experienced carers are needed to provide support to our Home Care
Clients in and around the Walsall area. Flexible hours, training
provided, own transport is preferable. This position is subject to
satisfactory references and CRB checks received after interview.
5 Care Services are committed to ensuring that
their Care assistants are capable and knowledgeable in providing a
highly personal, compassionate and quality effective service to the
people that they care for. Our initial induction training package
and continuous training gives our staff the confidence in their
ability to care for our service users. These training packages equip
staff with the theoretical expertise and the practical learning to
address all service users needs.
Our training packages are delivered in house by a team of specialist
trainers who have both immense knowledge and years of experience
Health and Care discipline. This ensures that our training packages
are in line with quality assurances and we are able to regularly
monitor and modify training to incorporate current legislation and
best practice nationally.
All Care Staff are fully trained in our Induction Programme.

Our training and development does not cease at
induction, we have specialist training modules that are offered as
part of or in addition to your induction package. Our Care
assistants will complete and participate in intensive learning to
support the individuals they care for. The specialist modules that

Learning disabilities Care
Further to the in-house training modules we
actively encourage and support our staff to achieve their personal
goals in terms of advancing their careers within 5 Care Services.
This can include studying for a NVQ or completing a diploma in the
field of Care to advance your knowledge and skills. Personal
development is an important aspect that is reviewed and discussed on
a regular basis with your manager.
